Moonglow, the 2020 Rose by Dewey Station Wines is as ethereal as the name suggests. With a gentle salmon pink colour it feels as though this wine only kissed the skin of the grapes, yet the flavour suggests otherwise, as it presents a good depth that lingers and changes with each sip.

The first taste will give you a delicate sweetness which transforms into a lovely tart finish, highlighting the true complexity of this wine. On the nose you are met with hints of grapefruit and pineapple. It is musky and floral and flirts with your senses before you have even taken your first sip. As the scent suggests, this wine is a fruity cocktail with a sharp acidity that makes you think of strawberries and raspberries. The further into the glass you dive the juicier it becomes. Everything about this wine screams fun, from the pretty-in-pink colouration through to the juicy, fruity palate.

If you are addicted to whites, but need something that will hold up against the heavier foods of winter, then you have found your wine. This bottle will pair beautifully with pasta and pizza, as well as white meats and fish dishes. The flavour profile definitely leans more towards the white wine side of the spectrum, which is surprising when you consider that it was produced using grenache grapes. If you are looking for a fun, flirty, aromatic drop that can be enjoyed all year round, take a stroll beneath the stars with a bottle of Moonglow.
